Able is a boy that lived with only his mother Dora Jackson.
Able’s father went away to sea and never came back.
Able and his mother always go down and get abalone.
Able and his mother had no technology or power connected with there house so they spent most of there days out side working.
Going out into the ocean is like going out to a backyard for Able.
Able has been living near the sea since he was born.
They live in a area called longboat bay.
Ables mother always said that he started diving before he was even born.
The age group that this book should be recommended at is 9 and up.
And the rating that I gave this book was 8/10.

The reasons why I gave it that rating is because it was really happy at the start and towards the end it got sad and confusing.
And it was also called blueback and it didn’t talk about blueback much.

Framer “There here ” screamed Darcy as she run down the driveway. As Darcy friends got out of the car mum yelled. ” girls put all the presents in the house and hope in the car”. On the way down to bounce the girls were so happy the couldn’t stop smiling. then the bounce manger handed all the socks to use. To start of we all went on the jumping pillow I did a big jump and then a twist in the air and back flip and landed on my back. then we went home had some cake and Darcy’s best friend grace came over for a sleepover best day ever!
